Overall, I would say I am very pleased with the game and I'm glad I ignored the negative reviews, The Sims 4 is a smoother, tidier and all round better looking version of the Sims 3 with tons of added features and a Sim that is much more interactive than before. It seems to me, the original game was made to be so simplistic with the intention of adding more expansion packs than with the previous games,which I can only assume to be a way of making more money.
however i'm fairly sure those things will come in time. Surely you aren't basing your entire opinions on something so small which, if you ask me, is a major improvement? Why would you want to watch your Sim glitch from place to place (as the Sims 3 was slow to the point it was almost unplayable) when you can travel there within seconds? Developers, please try to release more and more DLCs on a weekly, or if possible, on a daily basis. Fans want new contents as soon as possible. Please do not release expansions again like the old-days, as this takes too much time for development. I am already looking forwards for more DLCs to come. All in all, the game has a lot of innovative and creative improvement, which is a must-have for all fans of simulation. Also, it is very realistic, which is an outstanding life simulator. It has a lot of elements added, and offers a great variety of game play choices for players. The game play elements also bring the simulation of life to a new level. On a technical side, the optimization is perfect, the game is running extremely smoothly. It has an improved UI, which is more user friendly.
